Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines the rules and guidelines for using the Wadi Hub platform (the "Hub"). By accessing or using the Hub, you agree to comply with this Policy. Failure to adhere to this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Hub.

1. Scope of the Policy

This Policy applies to all users of the Hub, including but not limited to:

  • SME Members ("Members") who access the Hub for sustainability resources, tools, and services.

  • Experts ("Experts") who provide guidance, advice, and support to Members via the Hub.

2. Prohibited Activities
Users of the Hub must not engage in activities that:
2.1 Violate any applicable laws or regulations in the United Kingdom or elsewhere.
2.2 Involve fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices, including but not limited to impersonating another person or entity.
2.3 Infringe on intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents of Wadi Hub or any third party.
2.4 Include the transmission, distribution, or storage of any material that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harassing, or racially or ethnically offensive.

  • Promotes discrimination, hatred, or violence against any individual or group.

  • Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
    2.5 Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Hub, including:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Hub or other users' accounts.

  • Overloading, flooding, spamming, or crashing the Hub's systems.

  • Circumventing security measures or restrictions implemented on the Hub.

3. Responsibilities of Members and Experts
3.1 Members

  • Members must provide accurate and truthful information when creating accounts or using the Hub.

  • Members must not misuse resources, tools, or services provided on the Hub.

  • Members must not share their login credentials or allow unauthorized access to their accounts.

    3.2 Experts

  • Experts must maintain professionalism and integrity when interacting with Members.

  • Experts must provide accurate, lawful, and ethical advice.

  • Experts must not solicit Members for personal gain outside the scope of the Hub.

  • Experts must ensure the confidentiality of any Member information obtained during their engagement.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, templates, and resources available on the Hub are the intellectual property of Wadi Hub or its licensors. Users must not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use such materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Wadi Hub.

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe another user is violating this Policy, please report it immediately to Wadi Hub's support team at [insert contact information]. Wadi Hub will investigate reported violations and take appropriate action, which may include account suspension or termination.

6. Consequences of Violations

Wadi Hub reserves the right to take any of the following actions in response to violations of this Policy:

  • Issue warnings or requests for corrective action.

  • Temporarily or permanently suspend access to the Hub.

  • Terminate accounts and remove content that violates this Policy.

  • Pursue legal remedies where appropriate.

7. Amendments

Wadi Hub reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Hub. Continued use of the Hub after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

8. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
